StreamMyGame Windows PC to PS3 Tutorial

This sounds like too much trouble. If you can play the game already on your PC then why on earth would you want to play it on your PS3?

this is 2 hard to do…im not even gunan both…and i wanted to play Diablo

why would anyone do this? this program is only useful on runnin games on laptops

Gotcha…it would still be very hard though, PS3s architecture is very different to the one on the pc (therefore making ports difficult and crappy).

However, I dont think its completely useless, though in my case I would just run a long cable from my pc to the TV, eliminating latency completely and avoiding complicated software installs and configurations…

no, I actually thought that it was supposed to use your ps3’s powerful graphics card to play it, rather than just making it so you can play it on your t.v.

wow…so you thought this program would magically “upgrade” the hardware in your pc? lol

I found out yesterday that this was almost completely useless unless you have a pc that can handle the game your trying to play.

I wish there was a way you could play pc games on your ps3 that your pc couldn’t handle.

just 3 short, easy, stupid questions…
1) does this also work with pirated games? (not a pirate, just curious)
2) can u play those with ur PS3 controller?
3) i understand it’s ur pc running the game so if the pc can’t run it u cant play it thru the PS3 either?

4) if the answer to 4 is “no” then what is the point? why not just play with your pc?

My pc isnt good, i can play crysis on low on my pc, So does my ps3 then give me the same graphics or will it be better?

you tell him man! this is a great idea, funny how someone could not believe this without giving it a spin. as soon as i install YDL on my ps3 i will try and stream bioshock. oh BTW can i use a PS3 controller to play the game that im streaming?

We are doing it so you can play your games remotely. So is you have a big PC in your house you can play the game on an old laptop, a PS3 or some other linux device. You can now play them over broadband or WiMAX

There is a very slight lag created by your network. If you have a wired network or a good 802.11n wireless it is very small. Like less than a frame. Download it and try it, you can get it free.

If thats what you think then dont use it.
